Future Plans

As the Indian gas market continues to evolve, it is important that leading players like GTL undertake strategic initiatives to enhance infrastructure availability.

Accordingly, GTL is working on future expansion projects, which include development of networks connecting upcoming and existing sources as well as expansion of network in various geographies to cater to the requirement of expanding CGD networks.

GTL continues to develop additional Pipeline infrastructure in the State of Gujarat. GTL is working on future expansion projects based on demand in various regions around the gas grid, including expanding towards other States. GTL is also gearing up its pipeline by developing connectivity with gas sources that are coming up in Gujarat to ensure connectivity with and faster commercialization of all sources in Gujarat.

GTL is currently implementing various CGD connectivities, viz. Bhavnagar district, Narmada district (Vantevad - Rajpipla Pipeline), Ahmedabad Rural (Bhayla Connectivity etc.) Besides GTL is implementing various source connectivities viz. Jamnagar Dwarka Pipeline (98 km), Anjar Palanpur Pipeline (284 km), Dahej Bhadbhut Pipeline (35 km) to connect various sources like Sun Petro, PLL Dahej, Mundra LNG, to various regions in Gujarat and also connecting GIGL network for transporting gas to north India. Several customers in many industrial regions across Gujarat, including Dahej SEZ are receiving gas through Company’s network with more getting connected on a regular basis.

In future, GTL also envisages to connect other regions in the gas grid, viz. Kunkavav (Amreli Kunkavav Pipeline) Mandvi (Mundra Mandvi Pipeline) and Tarapur (Vapi Tarapur Pipeline).
